Athletes vs Epilepsy has your ticket to an amazing weekend! Join us for the 43rd Marine Corps Marathon and 10K as we celebrate the accomplishments that we have made to raise funds to help find cures and save lives!
Established in 1976, the Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) is currently the fourth largest marathon in the United States and the ninth largest in the world. The event field of 30,000 is composed of runners from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and more than 50 countries. Known as "The People's Marathon," the MCM is open to all runners ages 14 and above and is the largest marathon that does not offer prize money.
The 43rd MCM and 10K will take place on Sunday, October 28, 2018.

Your efforts will raise awareness in support of the nearly 3.4 million people in the U.S. living with the challenges of epilepsy.

As a member of an Athletes vs Epilepsy 2018 Marine Corps Marathon & 10K team, you are committing to fundraising minimum requirement of $1,000 for the marathon or $600 for the 10K. You must reach your minimum fundraising requirement by August 1, 2018 in order to be officially registered for your selected race.
Marathoners must be 14 years of age or older and 10K runners must be 8 years old or older on race date to participate.
Athletes vs. Epilepsy is a nationwide program for athletes of all ages and levels, coaches, volunteers and fans. The goal is to raise awareness, build participation, and help fund the Epilepsy Foundation’s mission to stop seizures and SUDEP, find a cure, and overcome the challenges created by epilepsy through efforts including education, advocacy, and research to accelerate ideas into therapies. The initiative helps to bring epilepsy awareness to all sports through participation by athletes of all ages and skill levels as well as their supportive friends, family, and fans.
The Epilepsy Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that people with epilepsy can experience all that life has to offer. Athletes vs. Epilepsy affirms this positive message and embodies it through action and the belief that anyone, regardless of athletic talent, can help to fundraise and raise awareness.
